Getting to Baden-Baden is very easy:

By train

The main station of Baden-Baden is a train stop of ICE/EC/IC/IR trains as well as local trains. It is located on the main routes Basel/Hamburg, Basel/Rheinland, Basel/Berlin and Paris/Wien via Stuttgart and München:

Travel there by train over night with the CityNightLine train "Komet" from Hamburg, "Semper" from Dresden, "Berliner" from Berlin, "Pegasus" from Amsterdam or "Sirius" from Dortmund - each via Karlsruhe to Baden-Baden - you can also book your trip via internet at your convenience.


Flight connections

International airports:
Frankfurt 170 km, Stuttgart 100 km, Basel 160 km, Zürich 300 km, Straßburg 60 km; there are also direkt train connections every 2 hours from Baden-Airpark.

Daily connections with Ryanair from London (Stansted), Rom (Campino), or Barcelona (Girona) to Baden-Baden. Daily connections with 1 change of trains in Mannheim or Karlsruhe.

Baden-Airpark 15 km, with 18 holiday destinations in the summer of 2003 - with flight companies Aero Lloyd, Sun Express, Tunis Air, Hapag Lloyd, Hamburg International, Bulgarian Aircharter, Air Europa etc.

Baden-Baden - Frankfurt Flughafen Long distance train station - Baden-Baden

There is a direct connection every 2 hours, otherwise there are connections with a change of trains once in Karlsruhe or Mannheim.
Duration: ~ 1h 30 min; ticket: 58 € (single, 2nd class)


Baden-Baden - Stuttgart Airport - Baden-Baden

There are connections with a change of trains once or twice in Karlsruhe Hbf and Stuttgart Hbf.
Duration: ~2h; ticket: 40 € (single, 2nd class)


Baden-Baden - Basel EuroAirport - Baden-Baden

There is a Euro City train connection with one change of trains in Basel SBB every 2 hours; otherwise several changes of trains.
Duration: ~2h - 2,5h. Ticket information only at German railway Deutschen Bahn.
